Woodstock 1999 is a two-disc set that documents the Woodstock 1999 festival. It was released during October 1999, nearly three months after the event took place. The album was released on Epic Records.

The set features one song from each of 32 performing artists. It also features the recording of the speech given when the fires got out of hand and the Red Hot Chili Peppers performance was paused on the last day of the festival, on the track 'Interlude' (Disc one, number 16).

Each disc was also released separately with the titles 'Woodstock 1999 Vol. 1 - Red Album' and 'Woodstock 1999 Vol. 2 - Blue Album'.

Jimi Hendrix's Live At Woodstock captures the highlights of his literally incendiary Woodstock performance, including 'Message to Love,' 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return),' 'Villanova Junction,' and his legendary rendition of 'The Star Spangled Banner.' Interestingly, the DVD of Live at Woodstock doesn't exactly follow the tracklisting of the companion CD; instead, the majority of the concert video comes from the second half of his set. Fans expecting to see all of Hendrix's set may be disappointed by the heavy editing, not only of the setlist itself but of his comments inbetween sets. Likewise, the disc's lack of extra features such as a biography or discography is also somewhat disappointing. How much does a 50 rock of crack weigh. However, Hendrix's performance makes Live at Woodstock worthwhile for most of his die-hard fans.
